I started my first residential remodeling business right here in Brooklyn in 2009, right in the middle of the recession — one of the toughest times for small businesses. Running projects while juggling cash flow, bills, and compliance taught me something most bookkeepers never experience:
what it actually feels like to run a contracting business without clear numbers.
